A disbarred lawyer takes credit for a late friend's book, which becomes a smash hit but the tables turn on him sooner than he suspected. After a lawyer gets disbarred, he goes off to write a book about his experience. He meets a man who lets him read his manuscript.
The man dies and the lawyer passes the book off as his. Just when the book becomes a big success. He gets arrested for the true life murders of the five lawyers in his book. He then finds himself, trying to prove that he is innocent of the murders. A Murder
of Crows is a very good film that has a good cast which includes Cuba Gooding Jr., Tom Berenger, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eric Stoltz, Mark Pellegrino, Ashley Laurence, Carmen Argenziano, Doug Wert, Nate Adams, Jeremiah Black, Derek Broes, Adrian Colon, and
Gaelle Comparat! The acting by all of these actors is very good. Gooding Jr. , Berenger, Jean-Baptiste, and Stoltz are really excellent in this film. I thought that they performed good. Pellegrine has a terrific performance in this film! It maybe his best!
The thrills is really good and some of it is surprising. The movie is filmed very good. The music is good. The only downfall is the scene sex and nudity scenes which I thought brought the excitement of the film down a few stars but however, the film is quite
interesting and the movie really keeps you going until the end. This is a very good and thrilling film. If you like Tom Berenger, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eric Stoltz, Mark Pellegrino, Ashley Laurence, the rest of the cast in the film, Action, Thrillers, Crime,
Dramas, and interesting films then I strongly recommend you to see this film today! This is a well written & well acted thriller, but you must suspend your expectations about how plausible it is, cuz it ain't, and how the true killer, a well educated person
who should have easily covered his tracks could so easily have been tracked down by a lawyer on the run from the police. Also, the story is told in flashbacks, so you always know the hero will not be killed or hurt seriously. This waters down the suspense.
Gooding & Jean-Baptiste play their roles to perfection and, as is the usual case, Tom Berenger excels. Gooding's character is confusing, as he shows sufficient principal to get disbarred for the right, moral reasons & then turns around & pulls a Faust, selling
his soul for someone else's material (book). He is also a terrible judge of character.
